Since Skinjestique is not about kilograms of silicones that will be super nice for your skin but have no benefit, and we are specifically a story about actives (and in good concentrations), unprepared skin may react with a little tingling/burning/coldness and even a little redness.
This is normal. For unprepared skin, meeting a comlex of assets is a shock:) but the good news is that this is TEMPORARY! Once your skin adapts (it's a couple days to a week) - you will enjoy the results exclusively.
We understand that you may be startled by the reaction when your skin turns red on the first application. But first of all, we would like to point out that the composition contains no alcohol, fragrances and colorants that usually irritate the skin, so this reaction is only due to the high percentage of actives that Skinjestique is famous for :)
How do you help your skin come to its senses?
Let me start by saying that almost all people have dehydrated skin (let's remember how much water you drink, what humidity you have at home/office and outside, what moisturizers you use and whether you ignore sanscreen on a daily basis. I'm sure the answers will be disappointing, hence the dehydration).
On dehydrated skin and aloe extract will cause a fire. And even 100% centella extract, which is a great beauty remover, can also sting in the first application. So the first thing to do is add CERAMIDES to restore your skin's barrier function. But they too may give a little discomfort in the FIRST application (as they too are full of actives), however this is how your skin gets used to strong and quality cosmetics.
When discomfort indicates an allergic reaction (this is super rare, but unfortunately no one is immune to it):
- body temperature rises
- swelling appears
- very severe burning and itching
- redness
and all of the above signs don't go away on their own until you take antihistamines. Again, cases of real allergies in all five years we have had can be counted on the fingers of two hands, but we must be sure to label it.
Most often a slight discomfort just in the first days of use is due to the fact that dehydrated skin has encountered the active formulas and is going through a period of habituation, this is normal
