You may have noticed that Skinjestique focuses heavily on anti-aging care, high concentrations of active ingredients, and my favorite peptides (especially those with a Botox-like effect ❤️). But does this mean that young skin has no place here? Absolutely not!
During adolescence, hormonal changes often make the skin oilier and more prone to breakouts. A common issue in skincare routines for teens is the use of overly aggressive cleansers and mattifying products containing alcohol. This can actually lead to increased sebum production, more breakouts, and damage to the skin’s barrier function.
That’s why we recommend gentle cleansing:
- PERFECT CLEANSING OIL is ideal for evening routines to remove makeup, dirt, and excess sebum.
- In the morning and evening, use our gentle foam PURE GENTLE CLEANSING FOAM (coming soon), which cleans without stripping the skin and won’t cause dehydration.
After cleansing, apply REVITALIZING YOUTH TONER as soon as possible. It soothes the skin, and its lactobacillus lysate has anti-inflammatory properties that promote skin regeneration.
If your skin is oily with enlarged pores and breakouts, consider adding the ANTIOXIDANT VITAMIN SERUM, which contains 15% niacinamide (vitamin B3). This serum helps reduce excess sebum, brightens post-acne marks, and speeds up skin recovery, while vitamin C gives the skin a healthy glow!
In the evening, you can use the MICRO-PEEL GLOW SERUM, a gentle exfoliating serum that removes dead skin cells and helps maintain a refined complexion.
Can teenagers use retinol, such as the RETINOL ANTI-AGING SERUM? Yes, but only if the skin is problematic, as retinoids are commonly used in acne treatment protocols. Our retinol is encapsulated, making its action much gentler (as gentle as possible for a potent active ingredient).
