Recently, we conducted a survey on daily sunscreen use, and the results were disappointing. What was even more troubling were the consequences we saw following the results. During White Friday, we sold a record number of “anti-pigmentation” kits. It’s easy to connect the dots. We had expected the “great anti-age” kits to lead, but clearly, sunscreen neglect is catching up.
Sunscreen needs to be part of your morning routine. Always! Even if the only sunlight you see comes through a window. It should be as automatic as brushing your teeth.
Why do I emphasize this so much? Let’s break it down:
1. IR Rays (Infrared): These rays harm collagen and blood vessels by creating reactive oxygen species (ROS), leading to skin damage like couperose.
2. HEV Rays (Blue Light): Digital screens emit HEV light, which scientists link to "digital aging." This oxidative damage can be prevented more easily with antioxidants and SPF than it can be reversed later.
And yes, UV rays penetrate through glass (in your car or at home). Ever noticed how furniture fades in sunlight? The same effect happens to your skin. Staying indoors is no reason to skip sunscreen. I truly believe SPF 50 outperforms most lifting creams in terms of skin protection.
Without sunscreen, pigmentation issues will keep worsening. Even the best Vitamin C, tranexamic acid, or arbutin won’t fully compensate.
And stay tuned! Soon, we’re launching YOUR PERFECT SUNSCREEN. Watch our news for the release! 😊
