Rosacea. An important and great post

According to statistics, 2-10% of people suffer from this condition.

In women, rosacea is 4 times more common.

30-50 years is the average age of the disease.

Rosacea is a disease when most of the face is affected by erythema (not when there are individual foci and pinkish undertones), in fact, it is an inflammation of the vascular mesh, when on the background of erythema there are papules and pustules due to chronic inflammation. It is accompanied by itching and burning. This is a very important difference from couperosis, which does not cause negative sensations.

In rosacea, there is erythema (!).
Couperosis, on the other hand, is a protein deficiency, a problem of vascular injury.
Rosacea is inflammation. Often in a rosacea treatment and correction protocol, the doctor will prescribe a course of antibiotics to work on the inflammation first.

Rosacea triggers - damage to the sebaceous glands.

Which is more common? Couperosis or rosacea? Couperosis (thankfully, as it is easier to correct and does not carry serious discomfort).

Does couperose lead to rosacea? No.

What can and cannot be done for rosacea?

You can: retinol.
Dermanidling therapy with growth factors (which block inflammation), ceramides. You can peel (and you can't with couperose), salicylic acid, centella, tea tree, niacinamide are friends for rosacea.

Do not: vitamin C in any form, even stable (causes immune reaction).

And the most important thing for rosacea: there must be an internal correction, otherwise cosmetic procedures and products do not give positive results.

Vitamin C (if pigmentation correction is necessary) for people with rosacea we replace it with brightening peptides, such as those in RADIANCE EXTRA-FIRMING SERUM
Oligopeptide-68 (3%):
 - Provides brightening in a novel way by inhibiting MITF, the master regulator of melanocyte production and an important factor in the process of melanogenesis.
 - This peptide stimulates all pigmentation pathways.
